(NSCAD)
Established by Anna Leonowens ( the real life governess of the King of
Siam) as the Victoria School of Art and Design, NSCAD has come far since
its beginnings in l887
Nova Scotia Community College
A network of 13 campuses offers occupational trade certificates, diplomas,
and advanced diploma programs in applied arts, apprenticeable trades,
business, health, human services, technical and technology fields
Saint Mary's
This venerable university in the heart of Halifax welcomes students in
several languages and offers a selection of online study programs in addition
to its regular course offerings.
University of King's College
Located on the Dalhousie campus, King's College offers degrees programmes
in the in arts and science, and established its fine School of Journalism
in l978.
