You've Got the Power - It's
time to get rid of all that old pc gear you've got stashed. It
only costs when you buy new folks. Drop offs of old televisions,
computers, monitors and printers is FREE! Here are the drop
off centers and more from ACES,
Atlantic Canada Electronic Stewardship
In February, 2008 Nova Scotia's
ACES program opened its doors for electronics recycling.
There was initial confusion about recycling fees as posted on
the website and in mailbox drop offs. According to a spokesperson
at ACES, they have fielded 'lots of calls' from people who understood
the information to mean that you must pay a fee for each piece
of equipment you drop off at the various ACES Centers around the
province. This is not the case.
Recycling your old PC equipment is FREE!
You pay
only when you purchase a NEW computer or TV.
